Depression
There are many factors that can lead to feelings of depression. It's even more difficult to do anything when the heaviness of depression weighs on you, so to even be here believing that feeling better is possible is a wonderful beginning. You can feel better.
Alcoholism/Addiction/Recovery
Recovery is a wonderful thing. At the core of any journey of recovery is the discovery of your true self. That stupid cliche that you don't want to hear while you feel that your life sucks, "it's always darkest before the dawn," is true though.Â
Anxiety
We will work towards getting you into spending much more time living in the "parasympathetic state" where you will feel a greater sense of calm and ability to tolerate distress.
Bipolar Diagnoses/Psychosis
I have extensive, intimate knowledge of the bipolar experience and am just as comfortable with the depressive side as I am with the most intense extremes of mania and psychosis. We will work on you owning your own experience and being better able to remain in the "middle."
Spiritual Issues/Spiritual Emergency
There are times when the energies of the body are released with such intensity that it can be overwhelming and destabilizing. This might result in a nervous breakdown that outwardly may resemble psychosis/bipolar/schizophrenia. Sometimes breakdowns are breakthroughs.

We all have our own our own versions of trauma, which tend to have lasting, deep effects on our worldviews, our reactions, and our nervous systems. We can address whatever those experiences have been for you and work on setting you free from the past.
Supervision for LMHCA Clinicians
I am a nationally accredited Approved Clinical Supervisor available to supervise associate clinicians working towards full licensure. I have a more relaxed approach to supervision, allowing plenty of space for associates to learn and grow as they practice.
