Reading Suggestions

  • Here are a few recommendations that I have found particularly helpful:

  • The Four Agreements, Miguel Ruiz (A simple book of wisdom that can assist in laying the foundation for living an easier and more fulfilling life)

  • Tao Te Ching (my favorite two translations are by Addiss/Lombardo and Mitchell)

  • 101 Essays That Will Change the Way You Think, Brianna Wiest (Simple, wise, and if you seriously open yourself up to its contents, it will change the way you think!)

  • Minding the Body, Mending the Mind, Joan Borysenko (It is like "The Body Keeps the Score" but more based in mindfulness and generally easy to follow.

  • Full Catastrophe Living, Jon Kabat-Zinn (Mindfulness and the foundation of Mindfulness based stress reduction)

  • A Lamp in the Darkness, Jack Kornfield (Sorrow and Loss)

We shall not cease from exploration

And the end of all our exploring

will be to arrive where we started

And know the place for the first time.

-T.S. Eliot

"It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society."
